| About Our Show MMA WITH YAC & J began as a simple online podcast. From there, Ron 'The Yacman' Yacovetti and Randy J were picked up by an online TV Network that streams live programs and archives each one (www.thestream.tv/yacandj). The Yac & J Show also added a new ally to the show, Queen of the UG (underground forums on mixedmartialarts.com) Miss RaRa. Guests from all levels of MMA stopped by to interact with live audiences as the show was syndicated on 5 or more sites every monday night at 10pm PST. Fighters such as Frank Shamrock, Gina Carano, Phil Baroni, Eddie Bravo, Scott Einstein Epstein and Scotty Nelson of OTM were just some of the guests that Yac & J got to joke around with. From there, Yac & J had an opportunity to move their show into a full on TV quality, HD production studio at www.BrawlersTV.com. The new show would be exactly how they had always envisioned it. MMA with Yac & J was a comedic slant on MMA news, similar in style to Comedy Central's "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" Both Ron and Randy are huge fans of this show, as well as acknowledging how significant it has become in the world of politics. So why not use the vehicle of comedy just like that? The new show format was the Yac & J vision crossing paths with the ability to make it come to life. It was, and continues to be Ron 'The Yacman' Yacovetti and Randy J's belief, that this comedic show format can help move Mixed Martial Arts more mainstream. So as the sport continues to struggle out from under its original negative halo of brutality, Yac & J see this program as a promising means to help MMA progress.
